1. Who operates this website
This website is operated by Neil Baker, trading as VANTORIQ at The Ploughman, Bullingham Lane, Hereford, HR2 6GG. Neil Baker is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. Privacy enquiries: neilbaker75@hotmail.co.uk.
2. Information we collect
If you submit the website enquiry form, we may receive your company name, name, email address, telephone number, approximate staff and site numbers, and the message you send. Please do not submit passwords, payment-card details, special-category personal data or other sensitive information through this form.
3. How we use enquiry information
We use enquiry details to respond to your request, discuss the VANTORIQ service, and keep an appropriate record of business correspondence. We do not sell enquiry information.
4. Lawful basis
Depending on the enquiry, processing may be necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, to pursue legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries, or to meet a legal obligation. The applicable basis should be assessed for each use.
5. Sharing and service providers
Information may be processed by Hostinger as the website hosting provider and by the email service providers used to receive and deliver enquiries. These providers process information as needed to provide their services and protect their systems. We do not sell enquiry information or authorise service providers to use it for their own marketing. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
6. Retention and security
If an enquiry does not lead to an ongoing business relationship, we normally retain the enquiry and related correspondence for up to 12 months after our last meaningful contact, then securely delete it. If the enquiry leads to a customer or supplier relationship, or information is needed for a legal, accounting or dispute-related purpose, relevant records may be kept for longer where reasonably necessary. Technical and security logs may be retained for the period needed to protect and maintain the website. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, but no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection or portability, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Contact us using the email above. You can also contact the ICO at ico.org.uk.
8. Cookies and analytics
This website version is designed without advertising trackers or third-party analytics. The hosting provider may create essential technical logs or cookies needed to deliver and secure the site. If analytics, embedded services or non-essential cookies are added, this notice and any required consent controls must be updated before they are enabled.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as the website and services develop. The date at the top will be changed when revisions are made.
